OK, here's the story...
I have these two friends who are way too obsessed with garage sales.
In order to protect the guilty I will refer to them as Fred and Lamont. Those of you who have been out of high school for more than a couple of years (like myself) may remember a little show called "Sanford and Son".  Just like the original Fred and Lamont Sanford, my friends are always on the prowl for a hot deal that may gain them a buck or two...
